Saturday Night, February 29, 2009: Sherm's House
Saturday Afternoon, February 29, 2009: Reid's House
Recap: Another huge table to follow up yesterday's. At one point, we had a record tying 12 people in one hand. The table was mass packed, and there were many unknown faces at the table. Craig Purpus started off well getting hit just about every hand, but then lost it all after getting slicked on a couple large pots. Joba was down $50 in the beginning of the day, but then turned it around and got up to even. We were playing with a deck of cards that had a picture of an NFL hall of famer on every card, but not on the back side. By the end of the day, at least four or five people had memorized a large number of cards, and were saying the players out loud. For example, Joe Montana was the ace of hearts, and when one of those people had Joe Montana, they would state they had, "him."
Jake deals em out. Schulte's counting his cash. Probably short because I owed him.
Everyone throwing out their dollar. Reid counting his cash that he just raked.
Friday February 28, 2009: Jamie's House
Recap: A great night for Buck Up once again at Jamie's house. The average hand had around 8 people, and they're were plenty of slicks. Many rare faces appeared at the table; Ted, Paul Neitkamp, Jenni, and even Bernd was there to watch a few hands. Lauren finished off the night up $60, and Reid also walked away with $32 extra ones. A bad night for J-Borg as he finished his horrid run down $40. "You might as well not make me a profile for the website. I'm done with Buck Up," he remarked. But no worries, this has been said before. Overall, it was a thriving evening for Buck Up.
Here are some photos from the night.
Ted smiles as he rakes a mass pot with his unbeatable A K Q of trump which was the hand of the night
The mass table we had going.
A mass pot after what seems to be a double slick. Borg needs to break a ten after being slicked on a 14 dollar pot.
